i have my italian exam tomorrow. it HAS TO BE okay. i don’t want to do this a second time. i’m just fed up with all this terrible grammar. last year, when i often hung out with my italian classmates, i just thought in italian half of the time, but now i start to see how ridiculous that was. partly because i feel sort of an outsider to all of it now, because they’re obsessed with italy, and i don’t feel like it so much at the moment.
i often think italy’s a beautiful country, and i like italian, for sure. but i hate the whole hype about it. italy is pretty, but at the same time there are many ridiculous things about this, like they’re some sort of dinosaurs (and i mean this soothingly : )). but hmmmmm, we’ll see.
